Testogel Licenced Testosterone Gel

Testogel® 16.2 mg/g 88g Pump

£159 Including Delivery

Remivida gives access to clinician-led testosterone support, with both bespoke compounded creams and licensed testosterone options available where clinically appropriate.

For men who are suitable for a licensed testosterone treatment, we can offer Testogel® 16.2 mg/g gel in a metered pump.

Testogel is a licensed testosterone replacement therapy for adult men with confirmed testosterone deficiency. It is prescribed only after blood testing, clinical assessment and approval by a clinician.

This option may be suitable for men who prefer a licensed branded treatment rather than a bespoke compounded cream.

Many women are prescribed Testogel® and instructed to use a lower dosage. This can be problematical and women are better suited to Remivida’s bespoke testosterone service with a metered dose of cream set to your own requirements or the standard, licenced Androfeme® cream also available through RemiVida.

Why choose Testogel® through Remivida?

Testogel is widely used, licensed and supplied in a metered pump. But the value of Remivida Select is not just the medication — it is the clinical pathway around it.

With Remivida Select, your treatment is:

  • Reviewed by a clinician
  • Based on blood test results
  • Prescribed only where clinically appropriate
  • Supplied as a licensed male testosterone treatment
  • Easy to apply using a metered pump
  • Monitored over time where required
  • Supported by clear instructions and follow-up guidance

The aim is to give you a safe, structured and medically responsible route to testosterone treatment, rather than leaving you to interpret results or dosing alone.

How long does a Testogel® pump last?

How long your Testogel® lasts depends on the number of pumps prescribed each day.

The usual starting dose is often 2 pumps daily, equal to 40.5 mg testosterone per day, adjusted by the clinician according to testosterone levels and clinical response.

The licensed dose range is from 1 pump daily to 4 pumps daily.

How Testogel® works

Testogel® is applied to the skin. Testosterone is absorbed through the skin into the bloodstream.

The aim is to restore testosterone levels to an appropriate physiological range in men with confirmed testosterone deficiency.

Your clinician will use your symptoms, blood results and safety markers to decide whether treatment is suitable, what dose should be prescribed, and whether the dose needs adjusting over time.

Why blood testing is required

Testosterone treatment should only be used when clinically appropriate. Symptoms alone are not enough.

Follow-up blood testing may also be required after starting treatment or changing dose. This helps check whether testosterone levels are responding appropriately and whether treatment remains safe.

Before Testogel can be prescribed, your clinician will need to review blood test results. These may include:

  • Total testosterone
  • Free testosterone or calculated free testosterone
  • SHBG
  • LH and FSH
  • Prolactin
  • Full blood count and haematocrit
  • Oestradiol
  • Lipids
  • HbA1c or glucose
  • PSA, where clinically appropriate

Testogel or bespoke testosterone cream?

Remivida Select offers both licensed and bespoke options, depending on your clinical needs.

Some men may be best suited to a licensed option such as Testogel. Others may require a bespoke compounded cream where a different strength, cream base or dosing approach is clinically appropriate.

Your clinician will decide which option is most suitable based on your blood results, symptoms and medical history.
