AndroFeme® is a testosterone therapy developed specifically for women and may be considered where clinically appropriate for symptoms associated with low testosterone levels, most commonly after menopause.
Testosterone plays a role in female physiology, and reduced levels may be associated with changes in wellbeing.
How It Works
Following menopause, testosterone levels decline alongside oestrogen. In some women, this may be associated with:
- Reduced sexual desire
- Impaired arousal
- Reduced energy levels
- Changes in mental clarity
Treatment may be considered as part of a broader clinical assessment.
Treatment Details
- Dose: typically 5mg daily
- Application: topical (upper thigh/buttock)
- Tube lasts approx. 3 months
- Ongoing monitoring required

- Are post-menopausal
- Experience low libido
- Have symptoms affecting wellbeing
- May already be on HRT
Safety & Monitoring
Treatment is provided within a clinically supervised framework, including:
- Blood test required before treatment
- Monitoring required at 3–6 months
- Dose adjusted based on results
